FASHION WITH TESSA--DEALING WITH RED WINE STAINS

Red Wine Stains

Is your cleaning bill as large as the gross national budget of some third world nations?  Next time you spill red wine on a piece of clothing, try this trick before running to the dry cleaner:

Soak the area in cold water, then blot away the excess water. Sprinkle salt on the stain. Allow the garment to dry. Rinse off the salt. Repeat these steps a second time, then launder the garment as you normally would.

Since I love red wine and I'm a klutz, I will definitely try this cleaning tip. :^)

Hope you don't have to use it too often, Penny!
