I sti...These are great stories for mystery writers. I still remember reading the obit of a man who had been taken in by a "friend," and had persuaded others to invest in the "friend's" scheme. The "friend" walked away with millions and the man who had been tricked first lost his reputation and then everything he owned trying to pay back the investors, who had originally been his friends and neighbors.
