Today Richard,
the Earl Blackthorn from author Kristi Jun’s Sinful Ladies of London Series
sits down with us for an interview.
What was your life like
before your author started pulling your strings?
My life had been just the way l liked it, despite
the mission I spied for the Home Office and the Regent. I’d rather face a
pistol than the torture this author put me though.
What’s the
one trait you like most about yourself?
My honor, my word.
What do you
like least about yourself?
Impatience. My penchant for solitude. Often, in
Society, I find myself suffocating amongst the ton.
What is the
strangest thing your author has had you do or had happen to you?
Drink to the point of allowing stupidity to dictate
my behavior.
Do you
argue with your author? If so, what do you argue about?
She somehow believes that I am worthy of love and that
I have a lot to contribute to the opposite sex other than sex. She insists that
I can accomplish her goals if I simply tried harder. I believe she is gravely
mistaken on both accounts.
What is
your greatest fear?
Allowing Miss Knight into to my life.
What makes
you happy?
To see Miss Knight smile.
If you
could rewrite a part of your story, what would it be? Why?
Actually, I can’t say I would want to rewrite the
story because her insistence has allowed me to see that I do indeed adore Miss
Knight.
Of the other characters in
your book, which one bugs you the most? Why?
Sir Kendall. He is a coward and a bully who
manipulates those around him to get what he wants.
Of the other characters in
your book, which one would you love to trade places with? Why?
My brother, Max. He was all that was good in this
world and he deserves happiness.

She is, I would conclude, brave, courageous, and
she was right about me. I do have something to offer Mrs. Knight. It took guts
to take a chance in us, in me, despite my grave resistance. You can find her
