With the weather warming up, many of us turn our
thoughts to spring cleaning and a bit of decorating to freshen up our homes.
Most of us don’t have the money to do a total decorating makeover every spring,
but there are some tricks for sprucing things up with little or no money spent.
Take this beachy bathroom look.
One of my relatives came up with this idea for
holding the pump bottle of soap on her bathroom counter. She chose a piece of
pottery she already owned in colors that complemented her bathroom. Then she
placed the bottle of soap in the center of the bowl, and filled the bowl with some
small pieces of driftwood, shells, and a starfish she’d collected on trips down
the shore. The cost? Not a penny.
The look? Beachy-keen!
