Every so often I come upon something that leaves me
scratching my head and wondering, “What were they thinking?” Such was the case
recently when I drove past the house pictured above. Talk about curb
appeal—NOT! Many people decorate their yards with bunting and flags for the
Fourth of July, but I’ve never seen anyone celebrate with a life-sized replica
of a T-Rex.
Maybe if it were Halloween, you could get away with a
giant T-Rex skeleton as a lawn ornament, especially if was holding a Jack
O’Lantern. It would certainly be something different from the typical ghosts
and witches that dot the neighborhood in October. But Halloween is more than
three months away.
There are some odd things that crop up in New Jersey
from time to time. There’s even a magazine, Weird
NJ, that chronicles them. I’m thinking this patriotic T-Rex should be added
to the next edition.
That is too totally cool! I want one! Wonder where they got it?
ReplyDeleteMaybe they really wanted a skeleton, but the T-Rex was on sale? LOL
ReplyDeleteThe flower pot position looks interesting. LOL
ReplyDeleteSusan, I wondered the same thing and tried to find one online. I was curious as to the cost because I know tabletop sized T-Rex skeletons are fairly expensive. I struck out.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, I suppose anything is possible!
It does, Vicki.
