ANASTASIA SPEAKS!

I sprang from author Lois Winston’s imagination way back in the early years of this century and finally debuted in trade paperback and ebook in January 2011. There were also large-print editions of the first three books about me.

2022 saw the release of Guilty as Framed, my eleventh adventure as a reluctant amateur sleuth in the eponymous Anastasia Pollack Crafting Mysteries. There are also three novellas about me, available individually or as a set in Crafty Crimes. But 2022 also heralded some other exciting additions to my world. The series is now not only available in trade paperback but also in hardcover.

More importantly, though, after all these years, my author has finally given me a voice. Lois teamed up with narrator/producer Alex Bitton-Bailey to bring me to life in audiobooks through Audible, Amazon, and iTunes. Assault with a Deadly Glue Gun was released the end of September, and Death by Killer Mop Doll came out the beginning of December. Revenge of the Crafty Corpse should be available by the end of this month. We expect the remainder of the series to be released before the end of 2023.

If you’re an amateur sleuth mystery fan who prefers listening to your books rather than reading the printed word, you’ll want to post a comment to this blog. Lois has some promo codes available for free downloads of Death by Killer Mop Doll, and she’s giving some of them away in a random drawing from all the comments received to this post. (U.S. residents only.) Of course, if you’re one of the winners, both she and I would really appreciate it if you’d post a review on Audible and anywhere else you post reviews once you’ve finished listened.
