Are you attending Left Coast Crime in Sacramento? Author Lois Winston, unfortunately, will not be there. However, one of her mop dolls, along with signed copies of Assault With a Deadly Glue Gun and Death By Killer Mop Doll, will be attending in her stead. If you’ll be at Left Coast Crime, you may be lucky enough to win the mop doll shown above and the books at the LCC annual charity auction.
Left Coast Crime will be held March 29th - April 1st. The auction benefits the Sacramento Library Adult Literacy Program, which serves the entire Sacramento City/County region with 29 libraries, representing a population of more than 1.4 million people.

Is this one of the killer mop dolls? Will it attack the person who wins the gift basket? Auctions can be deadly!

That remains to be seen, Sally. So far this doll has not killed anyone. ;-)
Awww..... this little mop doll is too cute to be deadly! Sadly, I'm much too far away to attend the convention but I'm sure it will be a grand affair.
Very cute! This will make someone a lovely gift! Bid high, bid often!
The doll is darling. Wish I could be there and in the auction for it.
Sally Carpenter, "Auctions can be deadly!" sounds like a great title.

You made this? I'm impressed. Either way, very cute!
Thanks, Jane, Robin, Brenda, and G.M.!
I've fallen in love with a . . . MOP? How incredibly cute and clever. I had no idea my floor mop hid such possibilities. Just think, I can never again mop the floor without thinking of you.
Radine, just about anything can be transformed into something else! All it takes is a bit of thinking outside the box and a glue gun. ;-)
