Size: approximately 1-3/8" x 1-3/8" when stitched on 14-ct. fabric
Cross stitch with two strands floss. Backstitch with one strand black (DMC 310, Anchor 403).

Angela, I'll bet you have both. I know eight year olds who have learned to cross stitch. It looks intimidating, but it's actually a very simple craft to learn. You should give it a try some time.
