#DECORATING WITH JEANIE--PEDDLER'S VILLAGE SCARECROW COMPETITION

My favorite Minion entry, although not really a scarecrow
If you’ve been a follower of Killer Crafts & Crafty Killers, you might remember that back in 2010 I featured some of the scarecrows at the annual festival and competition held at Peddler’s Village in Lahaska, PA. This year I made a return trip to Peddler’s Village. Here are some of my favorite scarecrows from this year’s competition. As you can see, Minions had the run of the place this year.
I wonder if battling Star Wars Minions qualifies as a mixed metaphor.
Even the shrubbery got a Minion makeover.
Minnie Mouse made an appearance.
As did some more recent cartoon characters.
The adult category was a little more risqué but still family-friendly.
I was never a fan of The Three Stooges, but I did get a kick out of this triple scarecrow.
Another entry that tickled my funny bone. This is Dr. Psycrow. I'm a suck for a good pun.
And finally, the self-watering scarecrow.

Love the photos, Jeanie! I sometimes have the opportunity to visit Peddler's Village during the Christmas Holidays. It's a wonderful place to spend a day.

Christmas is another great time to visit Peddler's Village, Angela. They have a great gingerbread competition and display each year.
