Have you ever heard of the
Chocolate Diet? No, eating chocolate all day won’t help you shed the pounds
(unfortunately!) However, a recent study out of the University of California in
San Diego found that people who regularly ate chocolate weighed 5-7 pounds less
than people who didn’t eat chocolate. No one knows why, and there will be
further studies to try to figure that out. However, we now know we shouldn’t
feel guilty treating ourselves to a daily nibble. We already know that dark
chocolate is packed with heart-healthy antioxidants, and now we don’t have to
worry about packing on the pounds when we indulge our sweet tooth. Just do so
in moderation.

I have two pieces of dark chocolate every day after lunch whether I need it or not! (Well, I always enjoy it, of course...) Glad to know it's helping keep my weight down.
Hi Edith--
So many things we enjoy are bad for us. It's nice when something turns out to be beneficial, isn't it?
