With Valentine’s Day only a few weeks away, here’s a
fun wreath you can make, no crafting skills required other than the ability to
cut and glue.
Valentine
Wreath
Materials:
8” grapevine wreath; 1-1/4 yds. 3/4” wide ivory beaded lace trim; 1/4 yd. 1/4”
wide pink satin ribbon; assorted old Valentines, antique Valentine
reproductions, or Valentine clip art; scissors; low temp glue gun and glue
sticks
1. If you don’t want to use the original artwork,
want to use images from books, or if you’re using clip art from your computer
or pictures printed on thin weight paper, use a printer or copy machine, to make
copies and reductions of artwork on index stock. A laser printer is preferable
if the wreath will hang on an exterior door. Ink jet images will run if they
come in contact with moisture.
2. Wrap beaded lace trim evenly around wreath,
securing ends with glue.
3. Cut out images. Glue randomly around wreath.
4. Tie satin ribbon to top of wreath for hanging
loop.
