Whenever a recipe calls for fresh herbs, I often find
the leftover herbs go bad before I have a chance to use them in another recipe.
Does this happen to you? Wasteful, isn’t it? Well, here’s a tip I came across
that will keep you from having to toss those rotten herbs.
Pull the leaves from the herbs. Place them in the compartments
of an ice cube tray. Fill each compartment with a tablespoon of olive oil.
Freeze overnight, then transfer the cubes to a freezer bag for future use.
