Today we’re also participating once again in Six Sentence Sunday. Today’s six sentences are from Hooking Mr. Right, the
first of author Lois Winston’s Emma Carlyle romances. Hooking Mr. Right was a Romance Writers of America Golden Heart
finalist and the winner of the PASIC, Great Expectations, Jasmine, Golden
Gateway, and Heart of the Rockies awards.
“Cu!” Luke groaned. How the hell had
his cat managed to get onto his neighbor’s balcony? And why did it have to be that
neighbor? Cu, looking for all the world like feline royalty, sat ensconced in
the center of a flowery cushioned wicker chair -- on Dr. Althea Chandler’s
balcony! And damn if he didn’t look pleased with himself!
